PYU is a founding member of the Association of Private Higher Education
Institutions in Thailand, and an active member of the Association of
Christian Universities and Colleges in Asia, as well as the Association
of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning. PYU has 12 different
faculties and colleges with a student enrolment of 3,725 and faculty
staff numbers of 728. The International College at PYU has seven
different degree programmes at the bachelors, masters and Ph.D. level
taught by International and Thai instructors in English. A core strategy
at PYU has been to increase the university’s global engagement at both
the faculty and student level through a number of programmes including
student exchanges, cultural programmes, joint-research projects and
international development projects. PYU currently has more than 37
Memorandum of Understanding agreements with International Higher
Education Institutions (HEI) in the areas of academic collaboration and
research, student mobility and development In addition to the
collaboration with HEIs, Payap has also been actively engaging with
partners from both International Non-Governmental Organisations and
various Government agencies to develop and deliver international
development programmes in the areas of organisational development
capacity building for both community-based organisations and educational
institutions in Thailand and Myanmar. 

Mr. Waruth Kaosol is the director of the Centre for
Social Impact at Payap University as well as the Assistant to the
President for International Affairs. Previously, his roles at the
university have included Director of Academic Services Office, Manager
of New Entrepreneur Creation Programme, Head of Asset Management Office,
Assistant to the president for Finance, and Dean of the International
College. In addition to his work in academia, Waruth has vast experience
in the financial sector within Thailand, having been a lecturer and
trainer for The Stock Exchange of Thailand and a consultant for the
Banyan Tree Resort, and WS Wire mesh Company. He also founded and owned
the Singha Beer Terrace in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Waruth has also
developed and delivered numerous teacher trainer workshops and trainings
both at PYU and in other organisations related to social
entrepreneurship, risk management, creative thinking, feasibility
analysis, and innovative financial management.

Mr. Wutthichula Khunpatwattanais head of the faculty
and student mobility officeat Payap University, where he has facilitated
the exchange programmes with international students visiting Thailand
as well as Thai students travelling abroad. Wutthichula
is alsoresponsible for the running of a short study abroad programme
sending Thai students to Korea on educational visits which involves
cultural immersion and academic studies.Wutthichula teaches in both the
Thai and International programmes and as such has a unique perspective
on the challenges of implementing internationalization programmes on
campus.In addition, Wuttchichula has extensive working knowledge of EU
projects through his responsibilities as the SHARE Scholarship Framework
for Student Mobility programme.

Mr. Michael Meallem is the project manager for the Center for Social Impact at Payap university. As such, he has managed numerous international projects and has a comprehensive working knowledge of quality assurance and reporting mechanisms for international donors.Michael is the institutional project coordinator for Erasmus+ funded projects on Sustainable Tourism (TOURIST) and Internationalisation (FRIENDS). Previous to his current role at the university, Michael was the department chair of the International Business Management programme andwas responsible for programme design, curriculum planning, and course design and has in-depth experience in teacher training. Michael has developed and teaches courseson Social EnterpriseIntercultural Communication, Sustainable Development and Business Ethics.
